State Officers

Raeef Rahman, President

Raeef RahmanRaeef Rahman is a rising senior at West Fargo High School. Outside of HOSA, Raeef participates in Speech, Debate, Student Congress, Student Council, and National Honor Society. In 2016, Raeef attended North Dakota Governors School where he conducted research on drug delivery systems for diabetic patients in the Pharmacy Department at North Dakota State University. In 2017, Raeef was elected North Dakota Boys State Governor and later went on to Boys Nation in Washington D.C., where he was elected U.S. Surgeon General and Senate Subcommittee Chairman. Raeef intends on using his interest in both healthcare and politics to run for public office at some point in the future. In his free time Raeef enjoys playing soccer, spending time with friends, and hanging out with his little brother. Email Raeef


Preeti Chemiti, Vice President

Preeti ChemitiPreeti Chemiti attends West Fargo Sheyenne High School and is a junior. Besides her involvement in HOSA, Preeti also participates in many other activities including varsity tennis, student council, chamber orchestra, debate, and speech. After her graduation in 2019, she aspires to attend an Ivy League University and eventually hold a medical career. In her free time, she loves to volunteer, play tennis, and read. Email Preeti


Stephanie Schuster, Secretary

Stephanie SchusterStephanie Schuster is a senior at Bismarck High School. She is an active member in multiple clubs, such as Key Club, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, HOSA, and Spanish Club. She is a straight-A student who wishes to attend medical school in the future. She is a caring individual who spends her free time volunteering, reading and being with her friends. Stephanie enjoys everything that pertains to helping others out and plans to pursue a career in the medical field. Email Stephanie


Esofi Nunyi, Treasurer

Esofi NunyiEsofi Nunyi will be a junior at Sheyenne High School in West Fargo. Apart from HOSA, Esofi is involved Speech, Debate, Student Congress, Science Olympiad, National Honor Society, French Club, and Tennis. She has attended and placed highly in several competitions for these clubs. Prior to her state position, during the summer of 2017, Esofi completed the rigorous 6 week North Dakota Governor’s School program for Science. The same summer, she took 9th place at the HOSA ILC Conference in Florida for the event of Prepared Speaking. In her free time, Esofi enjoys cooking, baking, volunteering, reading, traveling, playing the viola for her school’s sinfonia, and going to the movies and shopping with friends. With graduation approaching in 2019, Esofi wishes to pursue a career in medicine. Sariyah Housain, Parliamentarian

Sariyah HousainSariyah Hossain will be a junior at West Fargo High School. Aside from HOSA, Sariyah is involved in Student Congress, Speech, National Honor Society, Piano, the Distressed Children & Infants International volunteer group, Key Club, and the Minority Inclusion Association. Sariyah also attended North Dakota Governors School in the summer of 2017 for Science. During her free time, Sariyah enjoys reading, rollerblading, playing piano, and hanging out with her friends. In her future, Sariyah plans on pursuing a career in the healthcare field. Email Sariyah
