About North Dakota HOSA
HOSA is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education (HSE) Division of ACTE. HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the healthcare industry and to enhance the delivery of quality healthcare to all people.
North Dakota HOSA has 411 members, 25 advisors, and 16 local chapters.
Sricharan (Sri) Kotala, President
Ainsley Hayden, President Elect
Ainsley Hayden is a junior at Killdeer High School. She has been an active HOSA member for four years, and has served as a state officer for two. As president elect, Ainsley is responsible for scheduling monthly meetings, assisting the President in his capacity, and working alongside the other state officers to provide the best possible leadership to North Dakota HOSA's members and advisors. Ainsley is passionate about the medical field and serving others; and she looks forward to serving North Dakota HOSA for the next two years. In addition to HOSA, Ainsley is involved in band, volleyball, golf, Science Olympiad, and Students Against Destructive Decisions. After high school, she plans to attend the University of North Dakota majoring in biology, and eventually medical school to become a pediatrician specializing in oncology and cancer research.
Sudiksha Singhal, Vice President of Community Involvement
Sudiksha Singhal is a junior at Red River High School in Grand Forks. Along with HOSA, she is actively involved with DECA, the Grand Forks Youth Commission, debate, and SkillsUSA. Sudiksha is North Dakota HOSA chapter's resource for fundraising concepts in their communities. Additionally, she runs her own business in which she designed an orthodontic tool. The business is still a work in progress; the goal is to make having braces easier for thousands of orthodontic patients around the world. After high school she plans to get a medical doctorate and start her own business in the medical field. She loves to paint and draw and is a complete book worm. She looks forward to meeting many HOSA members, helping to grow the organization, and having a great year with North Dakota HOSA.
Kyan Woodruff, Vice President of Communications
Kyan Woodruff is a junior at Bismarck High School. He serves as the Vice President of Communications and oversees all communications to the Chapters and prospective members through social media outlets as well as assisting in Chapter's exposure for growth in their communities. Along with HOSA he is involved in Student Council, High School Democrats of America, student advocate, and is in the works of starting the Bismarck High School Student government. After he graduates from high school he plans to obtain a business degree focusing on healthcare management and communications.
Cayden Sorge, Vice President of Membership and Chapter Relations
Cayden Sorge is a senior at Century High School. As Vice President of Membership and Chapter Relations, he will oversee communicating with individual chapters to answer questions that arise and provide information for mass communication to the chapters regarding anything and everything HOSA. Along with HOSA, he is involved with football, lacrosse, and National Honor Society. He loves to be outdoors whenever he can as well as working with people. He plans to work as an emergency medical technician through high school and college while he pursues a medical degree and eventually become a neurosurgeon.
Julia Steiner, Vice President of Community Service
Julia Steiner is a senior at Fargo North High School. As Vice President of Community Service, Julia provides support to all local Chapters to develop opportunities to serve their communities as well as provide information regarding the National Service Project through HOSA. Along with being a HOSA member, Julia is involved in basketball, National Honor Society, and enjoys spending time with her dogs. After high school, she hopes to continue playing basketball while attending medical school. Her ultimate goal is to become a trauma surgeon. She loves to work in the community, especially her coaching job. She is excited to see what other chapters have in store for the 2021-2022 year.
