North Dakota State Officers have been elected to uphold the highest level of responsibility and dedication to ND HOSA. 

A Letter from our Leadership

Naomi Rahman 

State President 

Naomi is a senior at Red River High School. She has been an active member of HOSA for 4 years. As President, she is responsible for aiding all other state officers in their duties, supporting the State Advisor in statewide tasks, advising over the state program of work, and representing HOSA in an official capacity for North Dakota along with expanding our collegiate chapters and membership. 

​

In addition to HOSA, Naomi is involved in Varsity Tennis, DECA, Science Olympiad, NHS, Student Council and much more. In her free time she enjoys photography, reading, and traveling. 

After high school, she plans on pursuing pre-med and then attending medical school. She looks forward to meeting more awesome HOSA members and improving North Dakota HOSA!

Moorea Knapp

State Vice President

Moorea Knapp is a Senior at Century High School and has been an active HOSA member for 3 years. In her role, she is responsible for assisting the president with tasks and outreach within the HOSA delegation. Her goal this year is to help improve education on competitive events and offer any assistance needed.

​

In addition to HOSA, she is involved in her local animal shelter, is an EMT, and after high school she plans to major in Public Health.

Kenady Rooney 

State Secretary 

Kenady Rooney is a Junior at Century High School. She has been a member of HOSA for two years. In her role, she is responsible for maintaining efficient records of all State Officer activities throughout the year. She is excited about joining NDHOSA and ready to help it become its best!

​

She is involved in HOSA, National Honors Society, and volunteers frequently at her local hospital. 


After high school, she plans to major in biology and then go to medical school to become a dermatologist

Nader Said 

Social Media Historian

Nader is a senior at Sheyenne High School and has been a HOSA member for only one year and has made his way up to be a state officer.  As Social Media Historian he will handle social media communication and engagement Statewide. He is ready to help serve HOSA with his fellow state officers.

 

On top of HOSA Nader is involved in Student Congress, Speech, Debate, Track, Weightlifting and Wrestling.

 

After High School he plan to major as a pre-med then to eventually go to med school to pursue a career in cardiology.

Urszula Sawinska  

Community Service Coordinator 

Urszula Sawinska is a Junior at Century High School in Bismarck, with this year being her second in HOSA, and first as a state officer. She joined HOSA in order to expand on everything she is learning in her medical classes at school. In addition to being active in HOSA, she is a member of band, Science Olympiad, Science Bowl, and National Honor Society. After high school, Urszula plans on getting a degree in Microbiology and Chemistry before going to Medical School and hopefully specializing in pediatrics.
