What is HOSA?
HOSA- Future Health Professionals is an international student-led organization focused on four core values: Learning, Leadership, Service and Innovation.
HOSA implements leadership development while maintaining focus strictly on the Health Industry. The healthcare workforce shortage is nationwide. HOSA is the pipeline for future Health Care Professionals.
Local chapters build and develop their skills from middle school through post-secondary education, enabling them to be career ready when they enter their desired field. HOSA's competitive events program is aligned with national healthcare skills standards. HOSA is 100% healthcare!
Like any Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO), ND HOSA continues to add members every year having broken our membership record in 2023-2024 with 720 members. Membership recruitment is the single most important facet a local chapter can focus on to promote longevity in the support from their communities.

Year after year, health career occupations are growing in demand. Growth projections are estimated at 4% for registered nurses to over 17% for veterinarians.

Focus in chapter development and growth is key to promoting ND HOSA and filling the expected US projections.
