Duties of the Voting Delegate

The duties of the Voting Delegates are of utmost importance to the operation of a functioning student organization. HOSA is student-led; therefore, students are responsible for electing the State Executive Council associated with the organization.

Requirements

• Voting delegates must be registered in the CMS system by the local advisor no later than SLC registration deadline: January 27, 2026
• Current state officers are not eligible to serve as voting delegates.
• Voting delegates will still be able to participate in competitive events but assume the additional responsibility of attending the Q&A Session on March 23.
• Voting delegates will be able to vote between March 23, 2026 at 1:00 pm thru March 24, 2026 at 9:00 am.
• Only designated voting delegates are able to access the voting platform provided at State Leadership Conference (SLC). Election supervisors will have voting delegate names.
