North Dakota State Officers, 2025-2026
North Dakota State Officers have been elected to uphold the highest level of responsibility and dedication to North Dakota HOSA.
Setiya Hamidi
State President
Setiya
is a junior at Fargo Davies High School and has been an active member of HOSA for two years. As President,
she is responsible for overseeing the Membership Advisory Council, working alongside the state advisory to
plan HOSA activities, supporting her fellow state officers with their tasks, and much more. Her goal is to
assist newer chapters in onboarding and strengthen interconnectivity among local chapters and the state.
Beyond HOSA, Setiya is involved in Speech and Debate, Science Olympiad, Fargo Moorhead Area Youth Symphonies (FMAYS), and her school's Environmental Club. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, and playing the viola. After high school, Setiya plans to major in neuroscience/biochemistry, attend medical school, and pursue a career in neurology.
Hannah Gendron
State Secretary
Hannah
is a Junior at Legacy High in Bismarck and is going into her third year in HOSA. As Secretary, Hannah
dedicates her time to maintaining efficient records of meetings and assisting other positions in
organization and time management for events. She is so excited to get to know you all this year and help
North Dakota HOSA become the best it can be!
In addition to HOSA, Hannah is involved in Science Olympiad, National Honor Society (where she is an outstanding volunteer), Student Council, Historical Society, Girl Scouts, and more! She also works as a CNA at Sanford, a janitor for a local shop, nannies, and coaches youth volleyball. She has an immense passion for growth, not only for herself, but for those around her.
After high school, Hannah plans to go to college and become a groundbreaking pediatric oncologist.
Marley Foss
State Historian
Marley is a sophomore at Southeast Region Career and Technology Center (SRCTC) in Oakes and is thrilled to
be in her first year with HOSA, where she has been selected as the role of state historian. In this
position, she'll manage social media communication and engagement across the state. Marley is eager to
collaborate with her fellow officers and serve HOSA.
Beyond HOSA, Marley is active in DECA, volleyball, and track. After high school, she aims to become an occupational therapist.
Nicholas Debowey
Community Service Coordinator
Nicholas is a freshman at Minot North High School. He has been an active member of HOSA for one year. In his
role, he is responsible for coordinating and supporting community health initiatives and promoting health
awareness. He is ready to help HOSA in any way he can this year and in the years to come.
Alongside HOSA, Nick is in Science Olympiad, 18th Century Orchestra, cross country, and track.
After high school, Nick is planning to take pre-dental courses and then attend dental school to become an oral and maxillofacial surgeon which has been his dream since he was five.
